With their concert entitled “PEACE,” the multi-Grammy® and Emmy Award®-winning SOWETO GOSPEL CHOIR return to North America to perform a joyful program of South African freedom songs, traditional spirituals and some classics. The inspirational concert will also feature the spirited music of Aretha Franklin, Harry Belafonte, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen and more!

Formed in 2002, the Choir was created to celebrate the unique power of African gospel music and quickly established itself as a group that is “undeniably synchronized, appears unshakable, and simultaneously expresses universality and individuality” (San Francisco Classical Voice). Heralded by Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Barack Obama, and Oprah Winfrey, SOWETO GOSPEL CHOIR excites audiences worldwide, uplifting the soul and spreading joy through its earthy rhythms, rich harmonies, brilliant costumes, and infectious spirit. The Ball State Symphony Orchestra is a flagship ensemble of the School of Music that performs orchestral music from a wide variety of backgrounds and time periods.

The University Singers, also known as "Indiana’s Official Goodwill Ambassadors," celebrate their 62nd season this year! Under the direction of Jodi Cotton-Street, the ensemble kicks off the season with its annual Fall Concert featuring songs of faith, hope, laughter, and love.

The Barefoot Movement integrates bluegrass, blues, folk, rock, country and pop into music that’s delightfully fresh. Shows feature original songs and reimagined cover tunes with tight three-part harmonies and hot instrumentals.

Since 2011, progressive acoustic band The Barefoot Movement has been recording and touring internationally, winning the 2014 IBMA momentum award, and releasing three studio albums as well as a live album, a holiday album, two EP’s, and a covers collection.  They’ve been a tight knit group of four, with a loyal fan base in the bluegrass world.  But when the pandemic brought their momentum to a halt, the four-piece ensemble began to fragment, with bandmates moving in different directions during the forced hiatus. 

World-class artists and musicians brought together in the Coffee and Cabernet Series. Experience these internationally renowned artists in the intimate setting of Pruis Hall and enjoy a selection of wine, craft beer or coffee while attending the performance. 

Featuring vocalist Spencer Domer in Dein ist mein Ganzes Herz by Franz Lehar, and works by Yosuke Fukuda, Omar Thomas, Hugh Stuart, Malcolm Arnold, Franz Lehar, Katahj Copley, and more!

The Wind Symphony is under the direction of Jeremy Harmon, director of athletic bands. The Campus Band is under the direction of graduate student conductors.

6 Guitars is a pitch perfect blend of music, comedy, and theater. Just 1 performer portrays 6 guitar-playing characters each representing their own style of music:

• Wes Tankerfield, a snobbish jazz master
• Michael Marsh, a 19-year-old rock prodigy
• Peter Winter-Jones, a sensitive folk musician
• Rupert Colt, a charming country songwriter
• Emmanuel Ortega, an eccentric classical wizard
• Tyrone Gibbons, a weary blues picking octogenarian

As each character shares the anecdotes and songs that define their relationship to music, the audience is treated to breathtaking musicianship, beautiful storytelling, and top-notch comedy. Audience interaction and improvised songs tailors each performance to any given crowd.
